Broadwick Live presents the Beams, the Centre for New Culture in the heart of London’s Royal Docks. The Beams is set to open in October 2022 with an inaugural season of music programmed by Broadwick Live in partnership with LWE, reuniting the team that opened Printworks London in 2017.

Broadwick

The Beams is an authentically preserved former warehouse in East London’s historic industrial centre, with over 16,000 square metres of flexible space for large-scale creative expression and experimentation. During the week it will provide versatile space for modern industrial usage such as set builds, film and art production, photoshoots, brand events, exhibitions and fashion shows. Guests will be welcomed at the weekend for the music series and cultural events.

A testbed for creativity, The Beams is named after the factory-style light wells in the roof beams that flood the main space with natural light, making it a natural home for emerging artists and visionary culture.

The AW22 season kicks off with October shows headlined by Michael Bibi, Patrick Topping, Denis Sulta, Honey Dijon, Stephan Bodzin (live) and Cybotron (live). These artists will deliver a run of specially curated events built from the ground up around their unique styles and tastes, alongside local club brands supporting in the newly announced second space, including PXSSY PALACE, Ritmo, Perplex and Faith.

A collaboration between BWL and LWE, The Beams AW22 is set to be a source of electronic music discovery while delivering an audio-visual experience like no other.

“We always have a lot of fun working on parties together with LWE. We're positive that the range, scale and musical diversity of the first month of shows reflects that, as well as whetting appetites for more of what is to come”
